trailer break: ‘District 13: Ultimatum’

Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

I found the original District 13 to be a lot of awesome style and very little substance of interest, and this looks like more of the same. Except with a stolen nuclear bomb thrown in, perhaps we can expect the French equivalent of Jack Bauer to be running around Paris leaping from building to building, too.

District 13: Ultimatum will be available in the U.S. on demand on January 1, 2010, and will open theatrically on February 5, 2010; it is already available on Region 2 DVD in the U.K.

I was expecting prawns teaming with Jason Bourne and Jason Voorhees in a Superhero/Epic/Date/Disaster/Scary Movie-type abomination, so we’re not too far apart, Remy.

I love parkour as much as the next person, but not even ‘Luc Besson presents’ makes me want to see this movie.
