trailer break: ‘The Concert’

Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

Impersonating an orchestra? An entire orchestra?

This I gotta see…

The Concert is now playing in the U.K.; it opens in the U.S. and Canada on July 30.

This reminds me of that time the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra was booked in Hong Kong for several days and absolutely blew away everyone who saw it, and then vanished into the night afterward because as it turns out they weren’t the Moscow Philharmonic at all, just incredibly convincing imposters.

However, those folk were never caught so I guess you can’t make a movie about it.

Looks great fun! I could wish they hadn’t used faux Cyrillic in the caption screen, but film marketers will continue to assume their audiences are too dumb to notice something is Russian without it.
