trailer break: ‘Legendary’

Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

When can a hundred-pound woman beat a 250-pound bag of muscle? When it’s Patricia Clarkson versus John Cena. Clarkson FTW!

Wait: The big bulky guy and the skinny kid are supposed to be brothers? Oo, oo, it’s like Twins as a feel-good inspirational sports drama! With a special appearance by Danny Glover as The Magic Negro.

Legendary opens in the U.S. on September 10; no Canadian or U.K. release dates have been announced.

I wonder whether the film has any plot that isn’t given away by the trailer? Surely doesn’t seem to have room for much more. (Will the skinny kid feel good about himself in the end? Gee, I dunno.)

Oh, Danny, Danny, Danny, did you really need the money so badly?

(Minor question for MAJ – why do you generally link to HD trailers these days? It takes longer to download, I have to convert it to watch it on my laptop, and after all that it’s only a trailer…)

Roger, you can change the resolution right there on the youtube video. Just click the 720p and turn it into 360p or whatever… you shouldn’t have to convert it or anything, and you don’t have to wait for it to finish downloading first either.

Newbs, I don’t run closed-source software so I don’t have Flash and I don’t know what options may be built into it. (On the bright side, this means I never see YouTube advertisements.) But fair enough, if this downscaling is generally available to people using YouTube as the owners intend then I withdraw my implied objection.
