Halle Berry was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance here without anyone, it seems, apart from the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association having seen the film. One must wonder why the film wasn’t shown to others awards-giving groups. Frankie & Alice supposedly opens in the U.S. on February 4, but I can’t find any actual theaters where it’ll be playing; no Canadian or U.K. release dates have been announced.
