What’s that? A movie starring Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers can’t get released in North America? Oh, Shelter was indeed on the schedule for a wide release this Friday, February 25, but Weinstein Company just yanked it, for no reason as yet adequately elucidated.

Could have something to do with that awful line about “a doctor of science, but a woman of god”…

Shelter was released a year ago in the U.K., and is readily had on DVD. Now I gotta see it, if it’s that bad.

Shelter is available on Region 2 DVD in the U.K.; no U.S. or Canadian release date has been announced.
