trailer break: ‘Another Earth’


It’s science fiction, but not as we know it. Not as we know it at the movies, usually, at least. Hoorah!

I know it’s easier to represent stuff blow up onscreen than it is to represent ideas and how people are emotionally and intellectually impacted by paradigm-changing events, but it’s not that much harder. I wish more films would at least try, like it looks this one is.

Another Earth opens the U.S. on July 20; no Canadian or U.K. release dates have been announced.
