What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:

• So this is really happening, it seems. Second “Hobbit” movie gets new name, July 2014 release for third

• I did wonder after Hereafter whether Clint Eastwood had gone senile. I think we now have that answer:

• That Doctor Who sonic screwdriver universal remote I mentioned a while back is now available for you to spend your hard-earned dough on. Sonic Screwdriver Programmable TV Remote

• Uh, yes! I continue to be a little bemused by Moffat’s lack of imagination in this respect. Steven Moffat: Would a middle-aged person abscond in a magic caravan?
