Gotta love that America’s new blue-eyed boy-next-door Marine hero gonna save Mom, the flag, and apple pie is… Australian.

Well, not so new. This has been knocking around for so long that I’m guessing the only reason it’s getting a theatrical release* instead of going straight to DVD is because of the presence of now-hot Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, who were less hot when this was shot in September 2009 (pre Thor and Hunger Games).

*North America only. No U.K. release date has been announced.
