Benedict Cumberbatch + Monty Python — this is real (and other adventures in social networking)

What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• Comic Book Illustrator Tony Harris Hates Women (Cosplayers) Professional nerd dude lashes out at women who (he thinks) are only pretending to be nerds. Because, um, women like hanging around charmers like this guy? Logic fail.

• There used to be a UK film rating “H,” for “horrific.” I don’t think they meant in the Adam Sandler way. “‘H’ signifies that the film has been passed as ‘Horrific'”. 1940s film classification board:

BFI horrific classification

• No. No, he isn’t. Channing Tatum named Sexiest Man Alive

• Whoa. Benedict Cumberbatch to Star in Monty Python-Manned Film
