What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• Ha! RT @filmladd: Only 12 days left for History Channel and NatGeo to squeeze every last penny out of the Mayan apocalypse “prophecy”. #MilkThoseMayans

• Funny how it never crossed the minds of entire teams of creative people and account execs and corporate PR people that this might be a problem. Virgin Mobile US takes down Christmas advert suggesting sexual assault

The punchline? This is what Virgin Mobile replaced it with:

How can human beings possibly be this clueless?

• Singing about killing people is way way way way worse than actually killing people. Everyone knows this. America, fuck yeah! The PSY scandal: singing about killing people v. constantly doing it

• There’s no way this could go wrong. (Also: Ariana Huffington is not “progressive.” Progressive publishers do not expect writers to work for free.) Progressive journos hang with Obama: Anything wrong with that?
