Stoker (trailer)

Oh my. I’m totally creeped out by this, and yet I have next to no idea what the movie is actually about. Now that’s a good trailer!

This debuted at Sundance yesterday, so we should start hearing some initial reactions coming out…

I probably should see some of South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook’s other work, such as Oldboy, which I’ve heard good things about (and before the Hollywood remake of that hits).

See Oldboy, and then review it. I’d be particularly interested in what you would have to write about it. Discussing that film has led to lots of cross-thoughts and disagreements with my friends, and I’ve been looking forward to “Stoker” since before the trailer.

Yep, this would be one of the movies I’m most looking forward to this year. (Even now that I’ve read the script and am spoiled for it.)

Certainly looks interesting. I can’t exactly say I loved Oldboy, but it was certainly a very powerful experience…

It is scary what she has done to her face.
