That does look awfully like a fictionalized version of the excellent, hilarious and heart-wrenching 2007 documentary Young@Heart, which I warmly recommend if you haven’t seen it yet. (MaryAnn gave it a glowing review.) This seems rather predictable and the trailer appears to give away much of the plot. Still, the film does feature some eminently watchable actors. The cinematic equivalent of classy comfort food, I suppose.

I agree with Jan_Willem that it looks as though most of the plot is laid out here – and the remainder looks like generic “old people are funny” retread. I’m willing to say that that’s a problem of the trailer rather than the film, but only because of MaryAnn’s comments.
Hey, movie publicists! This is why you should invite MaryAnn to your screenings! Because if I’d only seen this trailer, I’d be steering well clear!
