Sorry to ruin your Friday with a trailer for a Shawn Levy movie. To make matters worse, it stars Vince Vaughn. My apologies.
Looks like Google has given up on that whole Don’t Be Evil thing. Shame.

Nah, you’re not sorry. There’s loads of trailers to choose from, you chose this one, you knew what you were doing. I’m NOT clicking on that.

Whoa! Usually lame comedies have funny trailers — they put all the good jokes in the trailers.
This trailer wasn’t funny. It was lame. And that’s the BEST they got?

Well, I like to picture Patrick Stewart saying “terribly sorry, didn’t quite get the nuance, could I punch you in the nuts several more times until I’ve got it right?”.
Looks as though this will commit the usual sin of assuming that, since the protagonists are played by Name Actors, I will want them to succeed.

Well, it wasn’t funny, but at least it wasn’t offensive through misogyny or racism. That’s something, at least. Okay, I admit, I laughed at the Patrick Stewart part.

Well it wasnt that bad. I was expecting a lot geek degrading but they actually showed that geeks are normal people too and like to have fun and have insecurities and generally can get along with non-geeks too. the whole drinking partying part was longer that i would have liked… but looking at how much business the hangover movies do i guess people like that sort of thing now :)
if you dont have anything better to do, see this movie. its fun.
