Intrigued as to who the third bemused peron is. And also – woohoo! Matt Smith and David Tennant together! Should be fun. Hope the episode is extra long?

John Hurt, I assume.

I read on another website someone talking about how their body language was saying they were very guarded with each other, but I don’t see it at all. I mean, I know they’re brilliant actors, but they do look to me like they really get on well. And there’s the part where they are discussing the effect that being the Doctor has on you, where they seem to be appreciating the fact that they are with someone else who really understands. As you say, very cute indeed.

I hope that, if we get only one other Doctor, it’s Paul McGann (rather than Chris Eccleston.) I think McGann would have been a wonderful doctor if he’d only been given half a chance, and imagine the angst if Doctor 8 finds himself plucked from what looks like certain death during the Last Great Time War to hang out for an adventure with two of his wittering descendent Doctors. McGann’s still lookin’ pretty good, too! Heck, if someone took it into their head to do a miniseries about the Last Great Time War starring McGann, I know I’d watch it.

I wouldn’t. I can’t see how anyone, even with the greatest team and unlimited budget, could do the Time War justice.

But more Paul McGann is always welcome.

McGann in his Time-War era leather jacket and scruffy beard was pretty damn hot. Cast Lena Headey as Romana III, Lauren Cohan as Leela’s badass daughter, and the Cumberbatch as the resurrected Master.

OMG, I wish I could hit the “up” button a dozen times on your comment. And I totally forgot about Leela staying behind with her Gallifreyan boy-toy, of course either she or a descendant would have to fight in the war.

Which would allow Headey to say the line “There is no fate but what YOU make for us, Doctor.”

How cute are they!? Clearly a fine bromance.
