Jon Stewart’s summer vacation is better than yours

I haven’t seen John Oliver’s Daily Show yet, but I just watched Jon Stewart’s guest appearance on the Egyptian equivalent of The Daily Show on the Web. (Host Bassem Youssef has appeared on The Daily Show.)

Here’s that clip:

I love the Internet. And I apologize to John Oliver — I’ll catch up soon.

P.S. I am looking forward to the film that Stewart has taken a break to direct in the Middle East: Rosewater… and omg, I just discovered on the IMDb that Gael García Bernal is starring as journalist Maziar Bahari. *swoon*

Oliver’s really been very good so far (many are saying “surprisingly good”, but I always liked the guy). If there’s one segment you should track down it’s the one where the WWE commentators were discussing immigration reform.

That’s definitely a good one – both hilarious and smart. =)

I <3 Jon Stewart, and Bassem Youssef seems pretty awesome as well.
