Violet & Daisy trailer: hit girls reconsider kicking ass

This looks potentially interesting — Saoirse Ronan is always fascinating to watch, for one — but the fact that it’s been sitting around since 2011 perhaps isn’t a great sign. That it’s from Geoffrey Fletcher, who wrote Precious, is rather unexpected, too.

(This trailer is blocked outside the U.S., because there’s no value in free advertising, apparently. Click here for a non-region-blocked version, though it’s cluttered with ads for the site that posted it.)

Hear this, film-marketers. Yes, I have the capability of using a proxy to get round your blocks. But I can’t be bothered; I don’t see why I should go to any trouble to watch what is essentially an advertisement. And now I shall always think of this film as “that one they didn’t want to show me the trailer for”.
