Well, that’s good to know! The trailer feels as though it’s trying to be a generic comedy trailer, but doesn’t have the puerile moments that such a trailer needs… good to know those holes are filled by something interesting rather than just filmic spackle.

So…Kristen Wiig (who I like a lot as a comedy actor), who will be 40 years old this month, creates a role for herself in which she is called a “girl”? I thought grown women hated to be called “girls.”

It ended its three-week run in the States with a BO take just under $1.4 million. Talk about wasting the momentum of a giant hit! Success gave Wiig a fabulous opportunity–which she promply blew.

I think she said: Now that I have a huge hit, I have a chance to make a movie I really care about. I need to take it before the opportunity goes away.
