A man falls in love with a computer specifically designed to be appealing and useful to him. *sigh* I trust that Spike Jonze and Joaquin Phoenix will make this more interesting and obvious than it sounds.

I certainly hope so. Otherwise it looks worryingly like Electric Dreams. And will the implications of ownership of a sapient being be considered, or simply ignored as they always are?

However this turns out, I’m always glad to see a new movie from Spike Jonze. Perhaps it’s a deconstruction of stereotypical male desires? I hope so.
