London photo of the day: Tom Hiddleston arrives at London Film Festival premiere

Honestly. That’s Tom Hiddleston, arriving for the Cult Gala screening of Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive earlier this evening (which is one of my favorite films of the festival).

I just happened upon this scene as I was leaving another film. As accredited press, I could be asking for spots along the red carpets, but that stuff bores me. Much more interesting here was the crowd: the screaming girls, the security guard assuring passers-by that there was “no one famous” due to arrive. You don’t get that atmosphere stuck in the photographers’ pen.

I was at the film as we arrived we could jear the screams coming up the street. We were running late and had to fight our way through the crowd. The film was excellent, Very witty, thoughtful and great performances
