I feel nothing watching this, beyond a vague nagging sense that I’ve seen this all before.

Yeah. They had all that fuss with the “countdown to the trailer release” and… meh, just another superhero beat-’em-up. How much screen time does Parker’s actor, as opposed to his CGI avater, actually get here, I wonder?

Yep, we’ve seen this all before. It’s Raimi’s “Spider-Man 2” redux with the villain problems of the third.

What would be a nice change of pace would be if this script just tosses SpiderMan into a gauntlet of several members of his rogue’s gallery, without trying to make the movie be about each of those villains.
I know, I know, people would bitch and moan about how little “character development” there was for the villains, how little we “learn” about them. But who the hell cares? It’s no their story, for fuck’s sake. It’s Peter Parker’s/SpiderMan’s story. The more screen time you spend on the villains, the less there is for the the real story.

Looks real pretty though,
I’m confused. I thought this was a live-action movie. Apparently, it’s an animated film.
Unfinished CGI?
You’d think they’d be cautious about unfinished CGI after the criticism of the Hulk trailer.
