3 Days to Kill trailer: old dude still badass

Good lord, how hot is Kevin Costner in this?

I’ll be in my bunk.

It’s nice to see so many movies reassuring us that men can continue to be badass into their later years. Hollywood so often ignores “older” men in favor of all the bland youngsters coming up behind them. Just like how we see lots of women in their 50s and 60s still getting strong, vital, interesting, sexy roles, we need to make sure that guys are getting their due as well.

I see what you did there :)

I’m excited for this, hadn’t heard of it until now. Even better is next year when Costner and Neeson team up with their “certain set of skills” to take down some sort of blah blah bad guy blah explosion.

Hooray!

I’m faintly surprised that, having got Amber Heard, they didn’t just make a 3-hour music video of “hot blonde babe shoots people and blows stuff up”. So many directors evidently would.

Still, I could do with no more “just one last job” films for a few years. I mean, Gibson did basically the identical plot device in Neuromancer, and there are parents today who weren’t conceived when that came out.
