The Two Faces of January trailer: so I can finish falling in love with Oscar Isaac

Ooo. Sleek 60s style, intrigue in foreign lands, maybe some illicit romance? I’m in.

This is the first film as director from screenwriter Hossein Amini (Snow White and the Huntsman, Drive). I hope he knows what he’s doing!

For me I suspect it all depends on the emphasis. Will it be yet another sun-drenched tawdry illicit romance, or will it subvert those expectations and do something interesting?

Well, sure. But until I see the film, I can’t know which way it will go!

Absolutely.

I tend to be cynical about films before I’ve seen them because then I’m not disappointed.
