I first asked this question way back in 2010, and I think enough time has passed — and enough new talent has come on the scene and older talent has shown unexpected sides of themselves — that it’s worth revisiting:

What’s your dream actor/director pairing, and what kind of movie would they make?

I’m a big fan of Wes Anderson’s brand of humor, and I love the comic style Daniel Craig has embraced as detective Benoit Blanc in Knives Out and Glass Onion. It would be wonderful to see what kind of magic they’d whip up together onscreen. Maybe something about the secret home life of a secret agent…?
