Nigel in Paris: cathedrals of one sort or another

nigelnotredame1

Nigel is not a believer (except in vegetarianism), but he likes an impressive building. So we visited this big church, Notre Dame.

There are many stained-glass windows here, telling all sorts of stories about all sorts of people

but none of them appear to depict pigs.

(Though to be fair, we did not have time to make an extensive study of this.)

Then it was off to that great cathedral to retail, Galeries Lafayette:

Don’t you think Nigel bears a striking resemblance to Johnny Depp?

The medieval theme continues in the food hall, aka the Chamber of Horrors (for Pigs):

From the Galeries’ rooftop terrace, you can see the opera house!

Saint Anthony of Egypt, also known as Anthony the Great, is the patron saint of pigs (and skin diseases, basketmakers, brushmakers and gravediggers).
