Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

I love how the trailer notes that Jeff Bridges has been nominated for an Oscar four times… with the implication being that, Hey, this could be the fifth, and might even win him the damn thing.

Fox Searchlight is certainly pushing Bridges and the film for awards consideration, so it could happen.

Crazy Heart opens in the U.S. on December 16; no U.K. release date has been announced yet.

Song sounds fantastic. Bridges is one of those actors I’ve always enjoyed just watching, no matter the drivel that might be in the script. But, this trailer makes it look dangerously like another lonely-guy-brought-back-into-a-fold-by-cute-kid film.
