It’s so strange to think about a horror movie in black-and-white! We’re so used to splatter and gore and buckets of blood being integral to the experience of watching a horror movie that it’s almost impossible to think the term horror movie without imagining the color red.

George Romero is still exploring the zombie afterscape: His Survival of the Dead is now available on demand from Amazon.com; it will open theatrically in the U.S. and Canada on May 28; it’s already available on Region 2 DVD from Amazon U.K.

Night of the Living Dead is available on DVD in Region 1 from Amazon.com and from Amazon.ca and in Region 2 from Amazon U.K.
