I look at this trailer full of passive-aggressive shit and people who think they’re best friends and yet can’t even talk to each other, and sexual infidelity and broken trust and barely veiled misogyny — telling a beautifully, highly educated woman she “can’t afford to be picky” because she’s 30? *grrrrr* — and the worst thing about it is that I know the movie is going to fully expect me to find this charming and funny and wise and heartwarming.
I swear, someday I’m gonna go ballistic in a screening. Fortunately, it’s looking like no press screenings for this one, at least in the U.K. So I guess I’ll have to go ballistic in public at the multiplex…
