The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (international trailer)

We get our best look yet at David Fincher’s English-language adaptation of the Swedish bestselling novel and Swedish-language arthouse box office hit worldwide. I can’t say I see all that much difference between the Swedish adaptation of the novel and this, apart from a Hollywood cast, some embarrassingly on-the-nose dialogue, and a few pretty terrible Swedish accents.

At least it doesn’t use the “Evil shall with evil be expelled” tagline. That was really starting to bother me, because it implies that Lisbeth or Mikael are “evil.” And they’re not.
