United 93 movie review: plane truth
Too soon too soon too soon. How can I bear to watch this? I don’t even know which 9/11 conspiracy theory to believe yet. Or maybe not too soon. How can I bear not to watch?

They’re the worst people you’ve ever met, and you’re gonna spend a week in an RV with them. (I recommend you avoid them at all costs, actually.)
Pretty darn wonderful: uplifting without being sappy, inspiring without being unrealistic. I confess I got a bit sniffly at the end, even though I saw the ending coming…
It’s no bit of cheap exploitation created merely to rake in some dough, but it isn’t very good, either.
A sharply incisive zinger that condemns the American people for being perfectly willing to be manipulated by their leaders and their entertainers…
Kiefer badness.

The stunning parallels between ‘Madagascar’ and ‘The Wild’ might actually verge on the actionable, but the real crime ‘The Wild’ commits is that it’s incomparably dull.
Brutally, bleaky funny, in a way that makes you want to cry more than laugh. Oh, and it’s brilliant.
