Or do you prefer to avoid the crowds that turn up then? Are some holidays better than others for moviegoing?

What would you hate-watch if you did? Is this a harmless extension of the guilty-pleasure, or is something else going on? Was hate-watching inevitable with the amount of godawful crap that fills the cablewaves?

In the current environment, in which devoted movie bloggers work for free in exchange for access to early material and talent, can we even expect any pullback on the hype overdrive?
If you haven’t attended conventions, would you like to? Does hearing others’ memories of conventions increase your desire to go to one?
Are the tiny people the bridge builders, and are they assembling to build a tiny bridge? Or are perhaps the tiny people worshipping the bridge builders? Or is something else entirely happening?
It seems to me that the decision is about exploring the known (if unfamiliar to you) or the unknown: who knows what could be out in space? It could be really lonely out there, and a long way between scenic spots.
