So is the crossed-over Jonah Hex basically Jesus? He raises that one guy from the dead… This is not a possibility I was expecting from this movie. (I’m not familiar with the source material — maybe there’s a Jesus-y thing in there?)
Jesus was pretty much a zombie, too. And now Jonah doesn’t have a cheek to turn, so revenge is all that’s left to him, I suppose.
Oh dear, this looks extremely silly. I wasn’t expecting that, either, despite the presence of Megan Fox. I guess I should have. Looks like John Malkovich will be in scenery-chewing mode in this one, too. *sigh*
Jonah Hex opens in the U.S. and Canada on June 18; no U.K. release date has been announced.
