trailer break: ‘The Virginity Hit’ redband trailer

Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

Oh, man. This is from the writing-directing team of Huck Botko and Andrew Gurland, who also wrote the pseudo-documentary The Last Exorcism, which turned out to be far more interesting than it appeared from the trailer, so I’m gonna hope that The Virginity Hit is going to be more than teenage guys humiliating one another for fun and — perhaps — profit.

Here are a few hints to all the teenaged (or older) guys who may see themselves in this movie: First, desperation is not attractive, so if you’re looking to scare girls away, acting desperate is an excellent way to do so. Second, no one can tell just by looking at you whether you’re a virgin or not. So if you take the cool, classy, gentlemanly route and refuse to be the kind of jerk who talks about whom he may or may not have slept with, or who talks about women as if they were conquests instead of people, you don’t need to participate in the kind of assholery the guys in this movie get up to.

Just a thought…

The Virginity Hit opens in the U.S. on September 10; no Canadian or U.K. release dates have been announced.

I’m really glad to hear this is a movie, because I was really wondering about those billboards…

I’ve seen a lot of sick films, but this is what it took to turn my stomach. I couldn’t even finish the trailer.

Women are people too, damnit!
