It was more than a year ago that I posted video of the opening-night gala of Legally Blonde: The Musical, which had just debuted in London’s West End. It never ever occurred to me to imagine that Peter Davison — who’s starring in the role Victor Garber played in the movie, with all-new singing and dancing — would still be in the show all these many many months later, so the notion of getting a ticket hadn’t even crossed my mind.
But then I discovered, just the other day — via this video from Gallifrey One, the big Doctor Who convention that happened a couple of weeks ago in Los Angeles — that Davison is indeed still appearing in the show. Woo-hoo!
Do I have a ticket? I certainly do… for tomorrow night’s performance. I shall report forthwith afterward. (And I have some other stage shows I’ve seen to tell you about, too. So much to do…)
