It seems this is a teaser for a Super Bowl ad — yes, you read that right: it’s a teaser for a commercial — featuring Matthew Broderick as Ferris Bueller.
I don’t even care what it’s for: it’s just nice to see Ferris again.
Let the guessing begin: What’s the ad gonna be trying to sell us? What is Ferris’s story today? I bet he’s in advertising, and he himself conceived of reviving his own notoriety — for everyone remembers how the Save Ferris campaign of 1987 rocked America — to sell us SUVs or chicken nuggets or domain-registration services or the War with Iran.
Cuz one thing is for sure: Ferris sold out first chance he got, and is totally into isms these days, with consumerism right at the top of the list.
