And here I always thought Ulysses was inspired by Marcel Proust’s famous novel There’s Something About Madeleine..
Well, first of all, they are yellow and yellow is not a color normally associated with Hispanics, even stereotypical ones…
Second, they are rather asexual and that is definitely not a trait outsiders frequently associate with Hispanics.
I prefer to take the Fifth on the whole Minions’ work habits thing though I’m not quite as convinced as MaryAnn that the minions are not human. They certainly act pretty human for sexless yellow blobs…
