It’s a little selective – there’s usually a 3-year gap between sequels, so some similarities between 2014 and 2017 come as no surprise – but point taken, that’s a LOT of sequels. (Or reboots.) And with Star Wars movies, you don’t even have to wait three years.
On the bright side, they’re not making any more Police Academy films…
Shhh! Adam Sandler will hear you and reboot the franchise!

Normally I’d see this as a cue to stay home and read a good book but unfortunately, we live in an age in which two books on the New York Best-Sellers List for Fiction are written by dead people (specifically, Tom Clancy and Michael Crichton).
