What television series are you missing, and would love to be able to buy or rent to see again?

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is already on its way. Anyone want to see Jack and the Beanstalk done up Lord of the Rings style? Or perhaps a feminist twist on Cinderella? And who would you cast in your fairy tale?
The two that jump right to mind for me are, I think, obvious choices: The Wizard of Oz and Star Wars…
Or do you prefer to avoid the crowds that turn up then? Are some holidays better than others for moviegoing?
The sound of a rotary phone being dialed? The sound of the ocean lapping against the Great Barrier Reef (before it dies)?
What would you hate-watch if you did? Is this a harmless extension of the guilty-pleasure, or is something else going on? Was hate-watching inevitable with the amount of godawful crap that fills the cablewaves?
Not including the ones already in the planning stages, such as Annie, Dirty Dancing, Evil Dead, My Fair Lady, and Point Break…
In the current environment, in which devoted movie bloggers work for free in exchange for access to early material and talent, can we even expect any pullback on the hype overdrive?
