• Whoa. Though it is more than a decade before I was born, 1956 doesn’t seem so remote to me. And yet this man who saw 1956 also saw Lincoln’s assassination. How much the world changed in his lifetime! (How much will it have changed if I’m lucky enough to reach 96?) Amazing! A 96-year old eyewitness to President Lincoln’s assassination talks about it on a game show – in 1956!

I suppose the people supporting the d’Souza film want it to get as much respect as Bowling for Columbine – which did get the AA for Best Documentary Feature in spite of a host of errors. Perhaps they can show it as a double bill with Atlas Shrugged Part One.

If the Oscars are so goddamned liberal, why didn’t Fahrenheit 9/11 even get nominated back in ’04?  To this day it’s still the highest grossing doc of all time and made more money in its first weekend as 2016 made in entire run.
