OFCS 2014 award winners

The Online Film Critics Society — of which I am a member — has announced the winners of its 2014 awards. They are:

Best Picture: The Grand Budapest Hotel
Best Animated Feature: The Lego Movie
Best Film Not in the English Language: Two Days, One Night
Best Documentary: Life Itself
Best Director: Richard Linklater – Boyhood
Best Actor: Michael Keaton – Birdman
Best Actress: Rosamund Pike – Gone Girl
Best Supporting Actor: Edward Norton – Birdman
Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette – Boyhood
Best Original Screenplay: The Grand Budapest Hotel
Best Adapted Screenplay: Gone Girl
Best Editing: Birdman
Best Cinematography: The Grand Budapest Hotel

I’ll post reviews soon of the films here that I haven’t already reviewed.

have you not seen the movies that are best picture or with the best actor?

I have seen them. And I’ve also seen *Two Days, One Night.* They’re in my 2014 ranking. I just haven’t reviewed them yet. I hope to do so soon.

Most critics don’t review all the films they see. And I don’t think there are many who review as many as I do.

Have you seen Birdman? I thought I saw your review up on here but it must have been a mental delusion. I thought it was a good film, could have used more explosions though.

I’ve seen it, and it’s in my 2014 ranking (and listed on homepage since it’s currently in theaters). I’ll review it soon.
