the real problem with midichlorians, Space Invaders movie, Blockbuster has one foot in the grave: leftover links

Every week my browser gets cluttered up with tabs for stuff that I stumble across and figure I might be able to use as a Question of the Day or a WTF Thought for the Day or grist for some other post. And inevitably, I end the week with most of that material unused. But there’s no reason to let thias stuff go to waste: I can still share it with you, for your amusement, and start the new week with a clean slate.

Herewith this week’s leftover links, in no particular order:

Just wanted to give you a heads up that all the links from “Video Game Incursion” on down are broken.

Enjoyed the unemployed Spider-Man story though, after I figured out what the correct address was. :)

Space Invaders Movie and Futurama news in the same blogpost summarization?

Ah, good old Space Invaders. Anyone else ever waste a nostalgic half-hour on this?

Also: The AICN announcement about the movie included this music video, which is giving me serious ’80s flashbacks.

The article is correct: The mystery behind “The Force” vs. the mystery behind “LOST Island” are two completely separate things. We didn’t need, ask for, or require an explanation for The Force; it was “explained” in it’s way and there was never a mystery built up behind it. On the other hand, there are mysteries abound in LOST and every question is answered with a question. Deliberately.

I’m kinda surprised that MaryAnn has yet to link to this:

The one scene on Grey’s Anatomy that MaryAnn would probably appreciate.
